Fashion icon and actress Nana Akua Addo has taken a swipe at Yvonne Nelson for criticising the dying movie industry and self acclaimed celebraties who only parade at red carpets.
Though Yvonne Nelson didnt make mention of anyone, self-acclaimed “slay queen” Nana Akua Addo has resonded to Yvonne in a more harsh way for failing to acknowledg fashion as part of the industry.
Yvonne’s outburst, which went to her colleague actresses, movie makers and actors was to urge them to concentrate on giving life back to the dying movie industry than concentrate on ‘slaying’ on red carpets.
In a sharp rebuttal on Instagram, the slay queen who was missing at the just ended Golden Movie Awards Africa 2017 advised Yvonne Nelson to “either reinvent and help the industry grow or become a Commentator” just as she is doing now.
According to Nana Akua Addo, red carpets are a part of an industry called fashion and the earlier it is accepted the better saying “, the industry is for talents and not long legs, since long legs could get weak with time”.
