Many European Clubs have embarked on training tours in Asia and Chelsea is not an exception.
The English premier league champions, who have signed a kit deal with Nike, have had their first full day training session in china.
Brazilian duo David Luiz and Willian, along with Pedro and Victor Moses made their way to the Nike store in the city’s Solano Shopping Park to show off their premier league trophy and interacted with thousands of Chelsea supporters.
They then took part in a Q&A session with members of the local media, who wanted to know their thoughts on defending the Premier League crown during the upcoming season and the influence of Antonio Conte.
According to Moses, ‘It’s fantastic for us to be able to come down to the Nike
store and meet all of these wonderful supporters.
‘They are so passionate about Chelsea and as players we really enjoy going to different countries all around the world to meet our fans.
‘The welcome we have received since arriving in China has been amazing and we hope the supporters will come along to cheer us on in our game against Arsenal on Saturday.’
As part of the Asia tour, Chelsea will play Arsenal and Bayern Munich without their star player Eden Hazard, who together with new signing Bakayoko have been left out at Cobham to gain full fitness.
Also Missing out is new signing Antonio Rudiger as well as Diego Costa and Matic who might be out for good with their future in the team hanging in a balance.
