Kumasi Asante Kotoko is determined to maintain their eight game unbeaten run in the second half of the Ghana premier league according to their striker Sadick Adams.
The Porcupine Warriors striker according believes they will extend their eight-game unbeaten run against the Yellow and Mauve on Sunday.
According to him their victory in the President Cup over Hearts of Oak will motivate them ahead of Medeama’s visit in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.
“Our win against Hearts of Oak was a great one, but we are going to put it at the back of our heads and plan towards the game against Medeama,” Sadick told the club’s website.
“We are determined after the victory and I believe it will motivate us because such victories are not common…everyone is concentrated for Sunday’s game and hopefully, we can secure all three points against Medeama despite their impressive record here.
“We have to play our normal game, although, it’s going to be a tough game. However, at the end of the day, we shall be victorious.
“We have to maintain the winning ways in order to be able to achieve the target set for us.
According to the former Ghana youth striker the fabulous supporters want a win from the team, which is a huge task.
“The supporters want us to make them proud always and it is a huge task so we need to clear Medeama out of our way before we even think about the next two games which also include Hearts,” he added.
Kotoko, who sit fourth on the log with 32 points, are without a defeat in their games since new manager Steve Polack took over in May with eight points behind leaders Wafa, who travel to Obuasi to lock horns with rejuvenated Ashanti Gold, who have won their last four games on the road to move out of the relegation zone.
