But when it comes to achievements such as the Ugandan Ghetto kids performing at the BET Awards, those are African achievements, okay?

We are in this together. We celebrate together. Understood?

Anyway, so Uganda’s dancing group the Ghetto Kids got to perform live at the recently held BET Awards.

American rapper French Montana flew the Ghetto Kids to the US after they featured in the music video for his smash shit “Unforgettable” which is also featuring Swae Lee.

Another one…..they also got to hang out with DJ Khaled before their performance.

The kids got VIP treatment all through and they repaid the great hospitality with a great performance in front of hundreds of A-listers.

The group is made up of kids living in Kampala’s slums. Ghetto Kids Uganda started gaining popularity after they made an appearance in Eddy Kenzo’s ‘Sitya Loss music video a few years ago.  If there are people who deserve to shout “Mama We Made It,” it’s these kids right here.
